MODERN TIMES ROCK N' ROLL One of the few numbers off the album without acoustic guitar. It's surprisingly (and suspiciously) similar to Led Zeppelin's Rock N' Roll: piano appears on the second half of the song, there's a similar melodic flavour (with many blues notes) and rhythm is similar too. The particular snare-beat and heavy use of power chords on the guitar demonstrate that Roger was already composing punk music half a decade before it was "invented" by the Sex Pistols. As a matter of fact, the modulation found here (parallel) is hardly ever used in punk music (and definitely not in 'Bollocks').
