Although it looks and sounds like an acoustic guitar, it's actually electric (hence the modern name of the model, CE, which stands for "Classical Electric"). This solid-body began to be manufactured in 1982, and quickly gained popularity because of its pure sound (with minimal feedback).

Brian used it for Is This the World live (not in the studio), as well as the rock n' roll medley during the Magic tour, and to record I Want It All in 1988. Then, one year later, Steve Howe would borrow it to play his phenomenal solo on Innuendo.
